A Look into Safety at CMU Bus Stops 🚌
How might we improve perceived safety for Carnegie Mellon students using public transportation during late nights?
Perceived safety is important for maintaining trust and credibility with residents. Feelings of safety and actual safety go hand in hand, and it is this perception of reality that shapes people's behaviors.
Over 3 weeks, we used surveys, observations, interviews, and online research to inform our understanding of perceived safety. The final proposal is presented in poster format explaining our process and solution.
